Job summary

Dash0 is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging product and customer outcomes with OpenTelemetry-enabled observability expertise.

You will design and demonstrate live PoCs, deliver technical demos to engineers and executives, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive adoption of Dash0's platform across the UK market.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex observability concepts to engineers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) that highlight Dash0's capabilities.
• Deliver technical demos and presentations tailored to engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
• Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup and Telemetry data modelling.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Provide technical insights to influence product roadmap and features.
