Job summary

La Fosse in the United Kingdom is seeking an Observability Engineer to lead and mature its observability across infrastructure, networks and applications in a hybrid environment. You’ll own monitoring, telemetry, alerting and analytics to ensure services are measurable, visible and proactively managed.

You’ll collaborate with Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Engineering teams to embed best practices, develop dashboards, tune alerts, support incidents and drive continuous improvement through

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maturing enterprise observability platforms across infra, cloud and applications.
• Ability to build meaningful dashboards and reporting for operational insights.
• Strong incident response and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven approach.
• Experience embedding observability standards across technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve enterprise observability capabilities.
• Manage and optimise monitoring, telemetry and alerting platforms.
• Develop dashboards and reporting that provide meaningful operational insights.
• Support incident, problem and major incident processes through effective monitoring.
• Establish observability standards and best practices across technology teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and service performance data.
• Support service transitions, ensuring observability is embedded from day one.
• Act as the subject matter expert for observability and monitoring technologies.
