Job summary

Witan Search is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow a UK distributor network for global laundry equipment solutions. You will own the regional plan, manage key accounts, and drive new business across laundromats, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

You will lead with consultative selling, maintain CRM forecasts, and travel frequently across the UK and internationally as needed. A strong track record in channel sales is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in B2B sales, business development or account management.
• Proven distribution or channel sales experience with distributors, dealers or channel partners.
• Track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business from prospecting through to close.
• Strong consultative, project-based selling and long-term account development skills.
• Confident with CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline management and structured account planning.
• Good knowledge of UK regional market dynamics and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a UK regional sales plan aligned with commercial strategy and growth targets.
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors and key accounts; one major national account managed separately.
• Identify and convert new business from distributors, strategic accounts to laundromat investors and hospitality/ healthcare sectors.
• Build trusted relationships with decision makers at distributor, investor and end customer levels.
• Support distributors with joint visits, training, product knowledge and market development activities.
• Organise distributor and customer visits to manufacturing facilities and promote the full product portfolio.
