American Express in the UK is seeking a UK Benefits Analyst to own the operational delivery and governance of the benefits portfolio. You will partner with CTRW, HR business partners, payroll, finance and external providers to ensure compliant, accurate and engaging benefit programs.

Position requires strong UK benefits knowledge, policy interpretation skills, and a track record of improving service delivery.

Qualifications

• Current or recent experience in CEG or HR function.
• Experience partnering with HR stakeholders to deliver benefits programs.
• Significant experience managing UK employee benefits.
• Interpreting HR policies and guiding colleagues and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment practices, benefits legislation and pensions regulations.
• Experience supporting HR programmes and change initiatives.
• Managing third‑party benefit providers and governance.
• Stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Advanced Excel with Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
• Experience using UK benefits platforms such as MyInfo.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional colleague experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the UK benefits portfolio per UK law.
• Act as UK Benefits SME within CEG.
• Collaborate with CTRW, payroll, finance and external providers.
• Interpret policies and advise colleagues and leaders.
• Build partnerships across CEG, payroll, finance and procurement.
• Manage delivery of pensions, healthcare, dental, life, income protection, holidays, cycle to work and discounts.
• Partner with Payroll for monthly benefits processing and data integrity.
• Lead vendor governance and drive continuous improvements.
• Support implementation of new UK benefits and enhancements.
• Produce benefits analytics and reporting to inform decisions.
• Maintain colleague-facing benefits content and communications.
• Support annual benefits enrolment and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and pensions regulations.
