Job summary

Valmet seeks a Training Manager to build and lead the UK automation training capability in Warrington, UK. The role blends technical mentorship with the development of a scalable learning function across customers and service teams.

You will drive structured training for automation engineers, expand training offerings, and mentor early-career professionals while aligning programs with business goals and customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation engineering or technical training within process industries.
• 1-3+ years of delivering technical training, facilitating workshops, coaching teams, or transferring technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of industrial automation platforms such as Valmet DNA or equivalent.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Passion for developing people and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Customer Value: Deliver technical training on Valmet's automation solutions (DNA DCS, QCS, analysers).
• Develop and manage the UK training schedule, including standard and customer-specific programmes.
• Support growth of Valmet's training business by expanding customer engagement and offerings.
• Help customers maximise value of automation investments through knowledge transfer.
