Job summary

Robotics Jobs UK is seeking a trainer to develop and deliver hands-on training programs in automation control systems for engineers and technicians. You will design materials, run classroom and practical sessions, and coach learners across PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and networking.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or similar.
• Experience with industrial automation systems such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Schneider.
• Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation and industrial networking.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• Hands-on engineering mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs covering PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and industrial automation systems.
• Create training materials including manuals, presentations and practical workshop exercises.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on technical training sessions.
• Train engineers on industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet and TCP/IP.
• Assess trainee performance and provide technical coaching and feedback.
• Support troubleshooting and real-world problem-solving exercises.
• Work closely with project teams to align training with operational and industry requirements.
