Job summary

Röhlig Logistics GmbH in the UK Heathrow vicinity is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our customer base with a strong focus on air freight.

You will nurture relationships across UK Sales, branch management and operations, manage the full sales cycle from lead to win, and strive to exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Proven freight forwarding sales experience, ideally with strong air freight knowledge and a good understanding of ocean freight.

Responsibilities

• Generate, develop and manage new business opportunities across the UK, with a primary focus on air freight and additional opportunities across ocean freight.
• Build strong relationships with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders, while working closely with UK Sales, branch management and operational teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Manage the full sales process from identifying new business opportunities and arranging meetings through to rate negotiation, solution development, onboarding support and achieving agreed sales targets.
