Job summary

Röhlig UK Ltd. in London, Heathrow, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our UK customer base with a strong focus on air freight. You will identify opportunities, build partnerships, and deliver tailored logistics solutions.

You will work closely with UK Sales, branch management and operations to win new business, negotiate rates and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, aligning with our values of reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven freight forwarding sales experience with air freight knowledge.
• Good understanding of ocean freight processes and terminology.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate, develop and manage new business opportunities across the UK, with a primary focus on air freight; explore ocean freight opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, prospects and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities and meetings to rate negotiation and onboarding, achieving targets.
