Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Experience or knowledge of Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, or SEND education.
  • Strong lesson planning, assessment, communication, and behaviour management skills.
  • Reliable travel access across Wellingborough and surrounding areas.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • QTS, PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Are you a passionate and experienced educator looking for flexible work where you can make a genuine difference?

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to children and young people across Wellingborough and surrounding areas. Tuition may take place in pupils' homes, schools, and alternative education settings during school hours.

You will support learners with additional educational needs, exam preparation, gaps in education, or specialist SEND provision. Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or SEND specialist, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills to help learners build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their educational goals.

The Role

As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on each learner's individual needs, abilities, and learning style. You may support learners across Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, Alternative Provision, SEND, and Home Tuition.

Location

This role covers Wellingborough and surrounding areas. Tutors must be able to travel reliably to pupils' homes, schools, and alternative education settings during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
