Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking experienced tutors to support children and young people across the North West who require additional educational support.

Through our SEND Tuition Framework, we provide engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition to learners who may not access mainstream education due to SEND, medical needs, anxiety, or other barriers. Tutors will deliver personalised 1:1 tuition, build strong relationships with learners and families, and tailor sessions to individual needs to foster

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring experience required.
• Experience supporting children/young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to learners.
• Build positive relationships with learners and families.
• Plan and adapt sessions around individual needs.
• Support academic progress and engagement.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to families/schools.
• Work collaboratively with schools, families and other professionals.

SEND Tutors Wanted - Support Children & Young People Across the North West

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced and passionate Tutors to support children and young adults across the North West who require additional educational support.

Through our work delivering tuition via the North West SEND Tuition Framework, we support learners who may be unable to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including SEND, medical needs, anxiety, school refusal, exclusion or elective home education.

We are looking for tutors who can provide engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition and make a genuine difference to a young person's education and confidence.

We are looking for tutors with:

• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring experience


• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND


• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum


• The ability to adapt lessons to individual needs


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• A patient, nurturing and flexible approach


• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable

Your role will include:
