Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking SEND tutors across the North West to provide personalised 1:1 education to learners who may struggle to access mainstream schooling.

Tutors will support a range of needs within the NW SEND Tuition Framework, bringing patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education. You may be tutoring in Primary, English, Maths, Science, GCSE subjects, Functional Skills or Post-16 learning, meeting learners where they are and helping them move forward with

Qualifications

• Provides personalised 1:1 education to learners with diverse needs.
• Must meet learners where they are and build trust.
• Support learners to progress and access mainstream education where possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one tutoring across listed subjects (Primary, English, Maths, Science, GCSE, Functional Skills, Post-16).
• Support learners with SEND or additional needs in the NW SEND Tuition Framework.
• Collaborate with families and schools to track progress and plan next steps.

Through the NW SEND Tuition Framework, we're supporting learners with a range of additional needs and circumstances - and we're looking for tutors who can bring patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education.

We need tutors for:

• Primary
• English
• Maths
• Science
• GCSE subjects
• Functional Skills
• Post-16 learning

You might be supporting a learner who:

• Has SEND or additional needs
• Is unable to attend school due to medical needs
• Is experiencing school anxiety or school refusal
• Has been excluded from school
• Is educated at home

Every learner is different. Your job is to meet them where they are, build trust and help them move forward.
