Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking SEND Tutors across the North West to provide personalised 1:1 education to children and young adults who may be struggling to access mainstream education. We are looking for tutors who can bring patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education, able to support learners across Primary, English, Maths, Science, GCSE subjects, Functional Skills and Post-16 learning.

You might be supporting learners with SEND or additional needs, medical needs or school

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring children or young adults, especially with SEND or education access challenges.
• Ability to build trust and support learners 1:1.
• Flexible and empathetic approach to learning challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 education to children and young adults who may be struggling to access mainstream education.
• Meet learners where they are, build trust and help them move forward.
• Support a range of subjects including Primary, English, Maths, Science, GCSE subjects, Functional Skills and Post-16 learning.

Through the NW SEND Tuition Framework, we're supporting learners with a range of additional needs and circumstances - and we're looking for tutors who can bring patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education.

We need tutors for:

• Primary
• English
• Maths
• Science
• GCSE subjects
• Functional Skills
• Post-16 learning

You might be supporting a learner who:

• Has SEND or additional needs
• Is unable to attend school due to medical needs
• Is experiencing school anxiety or school refusal
• Has been excluded from school
• Is educated at home

Every learner is different. Your job is to meet them where they are, build trust and help them move forward.
