Tradewind Recruitment is expanding its NW SEND Tuition team. We are seeking experienced educators with a strong SEND background to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to learners facing barriers to education in the North West.

This role focuses on understanding the learner, identifying barriers, and creating a safe, supportive environment where they can learn and make measurable progress academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Strong SEND background with proven experience.
• QTS desirable and curriculum knowledge.
• Experience delivering 1:1 personalised tuition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to learners.
• Develop personalised learning programmes and monitor progress.
• Work on a 1:1 basis with learners to support academic, social and confidence growth.

Experienced SEND Tutors - Make Your Expertise Count

Tradewind Recruitment is expanding its team of specialist tutors supporting children and young adults across the North West.

We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced teachers and tutors with a strong SEND background who can deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to learners facing barriers to education.

This isn't simply about delivering a lesson.

It's about understanding the learner, identifying their barriers, adapting your approach and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported and able to learn.

You’ll work on 1:1 basis, developing personalised learning programmes and helping learners make measurable progress academically, socially and in confidence.

We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have experience with:

• Autism


• ADHD


• SEMH


• Anxiety and school refusal


• Medical needs


• Exclusions


• EHE


• Complex learning needs


• Functional Skills / GCSE preparation

QTS is desirable, alongside strong curriculum knowledge and proven experience working with SEND learners.
