Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking SEND tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 education across the North West. You will support children and young adults who struggle to access mainstream education, adapting to each learner's needs with patience and creativity.

Through the NW SEND Tuition Framework, you’ll help learners cope with challenges such as anxiety, medical needs or home education, building trust and guiding them toward progress and confidence in their abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring students with SEND or additional needs.
• Ability to provide personalised 1:1 support in education.
• Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young adults.
• Support learners who may struggle to access mainstream education.
• Build trust and meet learners where they are to help them move forward.

Could you be the person who helps a young person believe in themselves again? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for SEND Tutors across the North West to provide personalised 1:1 education to children and young adults who may be struggling to access mainstream education.

Through the NW SEND Tuition Framework, we're supporting learners with a range of additional needs and circumstances - and we're looking for tutors who can bring patience, creativity and a genuine passion for education.

We need tutors for:

• Primary English
• Maths
• Science
• GCSE subjects
• Functional Skills
• Post-16 learning

You might be supporting a learner who:

• Has SEND or additional needs
• Is unable to attend school due to medical needs
• Is experiencing school anxiety or school refusal
• Has been excluded from school
• Is educated at home

Every learner is different. Your job is to meet them where they are, build trust and help them move forward.
