This isn't a typical Home Manager post. It's a rare opportunity for a proven turnaround specialist to step into a high-potential service and lead a full transformation. With around 60+ residents currently in place and significant scope for growth, the right leader will shape the future direction of the home, elevate quality, and rebuild its reputation as a provider of choice in the region.

The Package
  • Salary up to £95,000 per annum
  • 40% annual bonus linked to quality, occupancy, and operational KPIs
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Company pension scheme
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
What We're Looking For
  • Nurse‑qualified with an active NMC PIN
  • Proven experience managing a nursing home with a minimum of 60 beds

  • Commercially astute with the ability to drive occupancy, strengthen referral pipelines, and stabilise financial performance
  • A resilient, inspiring leadership style with the ability to unite, motivate, and develop teams
  • Genuine passion for creating a culture of high‑quality, person‑centred care
The Challenge Ahead

The home currently holds a Requires Improvement rating, with groundwork already underway to move forward. A recent inspection is expected to maintain the RI rating providing the perfect moment for a new leader to step in, build momentum, and deliver measurable, sustainable improvement.

You’ll work alongside a highly supportive Regional and Quality Team, but this is your service to shape. You’ll be the driving force behind rebuilding trust, re‑establishing referral streams, and re‑energising the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a full turnaround strategy focused on quality, safety, and compliance
  • Rebuild key external partnerships with commissioners, health professionals, and local authorities
  • Drive occupancy by restoring confidence and enhancing reputation
  • Inspire, coach, and develop your team to create a culture of accountability, pride, and shared purpose
  • Position the home as a leading care provider in the region
