Job Description:

Join Audi's F1 Project, which aims to compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship starting in 2026. Our team operates across three locations: Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and UK, focusing on powertrain, chassis, and race operations development.

We seek a Turbocharger Development Engineer specializing in CFD simulations to develop and optimize turbocharging systems for high-performance engines. Your responsibilities include:

1. Developing combustion processes and gas-exchange via 3D CFD simulations.
2. Conducting thermodynamic development of engine gas-exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulations of intake & exhaust systems.
3. Planning, performing, and evaluating 3D CFD simulations with comprehensive reports.
4. Correlating simulation data with engine and test bench measurements.
5. Enhancing simulation workflows and toolchains for better data correlation.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields (Bachelor's, Master's, Diplom, or Dr.-Ing.).
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development, especially 3D CFD simulation.
• Strong knowledge of engine technology and virtual development toolchains.
• Experience handling test bench data.
• Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility.
• Independent, precise work style.
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language.
