Join the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The team has locations in Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and the UK, focusing on engine development, chassis, and race operations.

The role involves working on the combustion process and calibration of a high-performance powertrain, focusing on maximizing engine performance and efficiency, while ensuring reliability. Tasks include development measures during concept, design, commissioning, and testing phases.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of combustion process and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations
• Thermodynamic development of engine gas-exchange, combustion phase, and flow simulation of intake & exhaust systems
• Planning, performing, and evaluating 3D CFD simulations with proper reporting
• Correlating simulation data with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches
• Improving workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation

Candidate Profile

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development and 3D CFD simulation
• Broad engine technology knowledge and expertise in virtual development tool chains
• Experience handling testbench data
• Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility
• Independent, precise working style
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
