Job summary

AtkinsRéalis operates in Dartford and oversees design coordination for the two Dartford tunnels and QE2 Bridge. The role requires regular site presence and acts as the interface between site construction work and engineering teams to ensure compliance with specifications, quality, and safety.

You will coordinate design, review contractor proposals, and support CPS engineering with design coordination and external consultant management, while participating in design workshops and maintaining

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications are required.
• Knowledge of CDM and health & safety legislation.
• Broad understanding of engineering principles for bridges and tunnels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design for secondary steelwork and M&E schemes.
• Review and manage design delivery and external consultant documentation.
• Prepare and review Temporary Works Briefs and installation methods.
• Engage workforce to ensure safe execution of design solutions on site.
• Lead internal design reviews and secure sign-off with the Project Manager.
