Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Engineering Technician in Glasgow to deliver civil and structural CAD and modelling for highways, rail and asset management schemes. You will produce drawings to budget and programme, adhering to QA standards and company procedures.

The role covers a diverse range of projects in the UK and beyond, with opportunities to advance technical skills and contribute to high-profile schemes while operating in a flexible, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• BTEC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering.
• Working towards EngTech professional qualification with the ICE.
• Experience preparing engineering sketches and plans from conception through to construction.
• Robust IT skills with MS Office and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civils 3D).
• Proven ability to deliver work within set timeframes.
• Flexibility for occasional periods working away from the office.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings using CAD/BIM software.
• Assist with site surveys and other site activities.
• Support engineers with design solutions.
