Job summary

Egis is seeking a Method Engineer / Design Coordinator for the Dartford Tunnels, with duties at Dartford (preferable) or Leatherhead or South Mimms, including travel within the M25 DBFO area. You will coordinate design and construction activities across two tunnels and QE2 Bridge, and provide technical input to challenge and propose solutions.

The role involves reviewing framework contractors' proposals, managing external design consultants, and maintaining QA records, with regular on-site

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating design and construction activities across complex tunnels and bridges.
• Ability to review proposals from internal/external designers and coordinate with consultants.
• On-site presence and interface with site construction teams.
• Proactive in identifying hazards and implementing control measures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design delivery across secondary steelwork and M&E schemes.
• Review and manage design documentation from consultants.
• Prepare or check Temporary Works Briefs and methods of work for complex installations.
• Attend design/method workshops and weekly site presence to connect design and construction.
• Identify and raise NCRs; ensure TQs are raised and resolved.
