Job summary

Connect Plus Services, delivering key highway infrastructure around the M25, seeks a Senior Structures Engineer / Design Coordinator to focus on the Dartford Crossing, including the tunnels and QEII Bridge. You will coordinate design and construction activities, engage with site teams and external consultants, and ensure safe, constructible solutions within a live operational highway environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in highways structures or major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate design across multiple schemes and contractors.
• Knowledge of design assurance, construction methods and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage design activities for structures and M&E improvement schemes.
• Review proposals from contractors and consultants for compliance and safety.
• Engage with site operations, review control plans, and resolve technical queries.
• Support optioneering, feasibility studies and contract documentation preparation.
