Job summary

Group 1 Automotive Nottingham is seeking a Service Advisor to be the main contact for customers while their vehicle is in the workshop. You will warmly welcome customers, provide timely updates on repairs, and promote additional services to support vehicle health and service revenue.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage customers and colleagues.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a retail/aftersales environment.
• Ability to identify customer needs and upsell services.
• Strong time management; work under pressure and meet targets.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and engage them professionally throughout the day.
• Keep customers informed on progress of repairs with transparency and trust.
• Develop product knowledge through manufacturer-led training.
• Promote additional services based on technician recommendations to improve service revenue.
• Schedule workshop appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct pre-appointment calls to confirm bookings and address questions.
• Maintain accurate customer records within our systems.
