Volvo Group seeks a skilled CSR/Service Advisor to act as the key link between customers, workshop technicians and parts teams in Wellingborough. You will book commercial vehicles into the workshop, prepare job cards, and keep customers updated on progress and costs.

The role involves preparing estimates, obtaining authorisation for additional work, liaising with technicians and parts colleagues, and invoicing once work is completed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Service Advisor roles within commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Customer-focused and professional, with strong communication skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple jobs at once.
• Confident communicating with customers and workshop teams.
• Commercial awareness with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs, costs and timescales.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong team player with positive attitude.
• IT literate and able to use workshop management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customers by phone, email and face-to-face.
• Book commercial vehicles into the workshop for servicing and repairs.
• Prepare job cards and communicate customer requirements to technicians.
• Provide customers with regular updates on vehicle progress.
• Prepare estimates and obtain authorisation for additional work.
• Liaise with technicians and parts colleagues to progress jobs.
• Inform customers of costs, timescales and completion dates.
• Invoice completed work and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
