Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in Ipswich is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Travel claims team. This is a full-time, office-based role from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, where you'll be the first point of contact for customers during travel and health claim events, providing professional, supportive service.

You'll handle a high volume of calls and emails, gather claim information, process form requests, and keep systems updated while supporting the wider Claims team.

Qualifications

• Confidence communicating with customers over the phone and email.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Gather claim information and ensure details are recorded accurately.
• Process claim form requests and manage customer correspondence.
• Update internal and external systems with claims information.
• Support the wider Claims team with administrative tasks and payment processing.
