Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in the United Kingdom is seeking a Recovery Claims Handler to manage uninsured loss recovery claims and deliver exceptional client service. You will work from home two days per week after probation, supporting claims management and ensuring accurate case data.

You will proactively handle caseloads, coordinate with third parties and insurers on liability, and pursue swift settlements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of uninsured loss recovery claims on our office case management system.
• Communicate with third parties and insurers on liability to achieve swift settlements.
• Respond to written and phone enquiries clearly, courteously, and promptly.
• Develop relationships with clients by providing friendly and efficient service.
• Maintain accurate information on the claims system and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Consider litigation at the appropriate stage to avoid delays and protect clients' interests.
