Job summary

Brook Street in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist vulnerable young people who may have experienced homelessness, trauma, or family breakdown. You will build relationships, deliver support plans, and help with education, employment, and independent living.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with typical hours 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00, and includes a salary of £25,020 plus a £100 on-call allowance every eight weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults.
• Understand safeguarding and trauma-informed support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with young people.
• Deliver support plans and key-work sessions.
• Support education, employment, training and independent living.
• Help sustain tenancies and prevent homelessness.
• Complete risk assessments and respond to safeguarding concerns.
