Job summary

The Children's Society is seeking a dedicated youth practitioner to join a small, supportive team in Nottinghamshire. You will work with CYP at risk of exploitation, building trusted relationships to empower young people and their families.

We value trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and collaborative working with partners to create safe, positive outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people at risk of exploitation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with children, young people, parents/carers and partners.
• Experience completing safeguarding referrals and using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with CYP and families to support outcomes.
• Carry out safeguarding referrals and collaborate with agencies as required.
