East Sussex County Council is recruiting a Youth Justice Worker to support under 18s in the Youth Justice System, assessing needs, writing reports and direct work with children with complex needs, including those at risk of exploitation. You will work within a committed team applying Child First principles and trauma-informed practice.

The role involves safeguarding children, collaboration with partner agencies, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Motivated and committed to safeguarding children
• Excellent written and verbal communication for assessment and decision-making
• Ability to relate to children and families
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams/agencies
• Plan and organise a varied workload and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools and devices used in the role
