Job summary

Cardiff Council’s Young Persons Supported Accommodation Service provides safe, high-quality accommodation and trauma-informed support to young people experiencing homelessness. This role leads a designated area of the service, ensuring services are safe, responsive and delivered to a high standard.

You will manage day-to-day operations, staff performance, resources, and collaborative work with internal teams and external agencies, while monitoring outcomes and contributing to service development

Qualifications

• Experience in supported accommodation, housing or a similar service.
• Experience leading staff and managing performance and resources.
• Experience working within a multi‑agency framework and supporting young people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the designated area of the Young Persons Supported Accommodation Service.
• Monitor outcomes and coordinate staffing rotas.
• Manage budgets and respond to complaints and enquiries.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
