Job summary

Cranstoun in Sandwell is seeking an experienced leader to join the Sandwell leadership team, supporting the deputy borough manager to deliver a safe, effective and efficient service for people affected by alcohol and drugs.

You will line manage engagement and recovery workers, develop staff, oversee performance, manage operations, and collaborate with external agencies, delivering learning sessions and upholding trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field of substance misuse or similar service delivery.
• Proven leadership and line management experience.
• Ability to manage change and meet deadlines.
• Experience delivering learning sessions to teams and external agencies.
• Evidence of partnership development.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a team of engagement and recovery workers.
• Support individuals’ development and personnel matters.
• Oversee team performance and operational flow.
• Deliver learning sessions to internal and external agencies.
