Job summary

Cranstoun in Sandwell is seeking committed staff for a permanent role as part of our new Sandwell service model. Our keyworkers deliver harm-reduction, clinical treatment and recovery services, engaging with service users and families to change lives in a trauma-informed approach.

You will work in operational teams across all six towns of Sandwell, supported by a team leader and senior practitioner, responsible for assessment, engagement, and delivering a high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in harm reduction and trauma-informed alcohol and drug services.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage your own diary.
  • Integrity, enthusiasm and a passion to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a good quality and safe service to the people you support, including assessment and engagement support, caseload management, needle syringe programme delivery, harm reduction interventions, outreach and group work, and other duties as required.

Salary: 26,630 – 31,490 per annum depending on experience

Ourkeyworkers work in operational teamscoveringallofthe six towns of Sandwellsupported by a team leader and senior practitioner.You willbe responsible fordeliveringa good qualityand safe service to the people you supportincludingassessment andengagement support,caseloadmanagement, needle syringe programme delivery, harm reductioninterventions,outreachandgroup work as well as other associated duties. You will havegoodknowledge of harm reduction and be committed to the delivery of a dynamic andgood qualitytrauma informedalcohol and drug service.

Our staff teams are motivated and committed to delivering a quality service to residents of Sandwell and we are looking forlike-mindedindividuals to join us. You will have good Microsoft office skills and be able to manage your own diary efficiently and proactively.You will have integrity,enthusiasmandapassion to make a difference.

All post holders may be required to work some evenings, and some unsociable hours in order to meet our service delivery requirements. The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with additional hours on some evenings. There will be a requirement to cover these hours on a rota basis.
