Job summary

Cranstoun Group is seeking an Operations Manager for the Worcestershire Drug and Alcohol Service within the Workshops and Recovery Team. The role leads a team across the County, ensuring safe, effective and efficient service delivery while supporting the County Manager.

You will line manage Key Workers and the Volunteer/Peer Mentor Co-ordinator, oversee performance, and ensure high standards of practice. The post requires DBS clearance and flexibility for some evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years effective leadership and/or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to support service delivery.
• Ability to manage change and meet deadlines, with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with external agencies and delivering learning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a team of Key Workers and the Volunteer/Peer Mentor Co-ordinator.
• Oversee operational flow, maintain high standards of practice, and support service targets.
• Develop staff welfare, oversee incidents, and respond to recommendations from audits.
• Contribute to the duty management rota and cover some evenings as required.
