Job summary

Compass Community is seeking Teaching Assistants for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support pupils with SEMH, SEND including Autism and ADHD. The role involves working in a trauma-informed environment with extensive training and collaboration with teachers, therapists and families.

You will help with 1:1 or small groups, manage resources, support trips, and contribute to safeguarding and classroom routines.

Qualifications

• TAs support children with SEMH/SEND including Autism/ADHD.
• Staff must adapt to varied needs and collaborate with therapists.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in the classroom.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils.
• Manage classroom resources and assist with trips.
• Contribute to safeguarding and safe conduct of students.
• Participate in therapy sessions or reflections when needed.
