Job summary

Compass Community in Esher is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will work closely with teachers in classrooms, providing 1:1 support or small-group sessions, and help manage learning resources.

The role requires resilience, flexibility and a calm, non-judgemental manner to meet diverse student needs. Training in trauma-informed approaches will be provided to staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to support children with SEMH and SEND.
• Experience delivering 1:1 or small group sessions is desirable.
• Ability to manage classroom resources.
