Job summary

Stonepillow in Bognor Regis is seeking a Support Worker for a permanent, part-time role (30 hours weekly) in our supported accommodation.

You will assist adults facing homelessness, mental health and substance use challenges, delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support to build life skills and independent living.

The role requires lone-working, case management, and collaboration with partner agencies; DBS check will be completed. Salary £19,828 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing support or homelessness services.
• Ability to work lone and respond to crisis situations.
• Strong case management and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to secure meaningful engagement and reduce homelessness.
• Lead caseloads of 15+ individuals in supported housing with holistic assessments.
• Develop tailored support and housing plans with clients and partners.
• Maintain case files with documentation and safeguarding actions.
• Coordinate quarterly case reviews with clients and professionals.
• Build relationships with partner organisations and agencies.
• Support clients with household tasks, budgeting, and tenancy upkeep.
