Job summary

Stonepillow is recruiting Night Hostel Support Workers for the Bognor and Chichester Hostel. Hours are 8pm-8am, with waking duties during emergencies, as part of a night concierge team.

You will support homeless adults with complex needs, provide engagement, signposting and group work, and strive to improve housing, health and wellbeing while promoting independent living and life skills.

Qualifications

• Welfare checks and safeguarding awareness.
• Case management reviews including risk assessments.
• Engage with clients to improve outcomes with clear boundaries.
• Support independence and prepare for alternative accommodation.
• Deescalate disputes or emergencies; record incident reports.
• Complete support notes and maintain up-to-date records.
• Assist with preparing vacant rooms and general cleaning.
• Commit to holistic, trauma-informed, person-centred care.
