Job summary

The Salvation Army in Glasgow is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join Wallace of Campsie House Lifehouse, where you will support adults experiencing homelessness to build confidence, independence and positive life choices. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred support, manage risk, review plans, and maintain accurate records.

The role follows a 6-week rota with regular weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of homelessness or vulnerability and its needs.
• Trauma-informed and person-centred support approach.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support using a trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
• Help clients develop practical skills, budgeting, and access services.
• Maintain records, complete assessments, and follow safeguarding and policy requirements.
