Job summary

The Salvation Army in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Charter Row Lifehouse, a supported accommodation service for men experiencing homelessness. You will deliver trauma-informed support, develop personalised plans and help residents build confidence, independence and stability in the community.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
• A person-centred approach to support.
• Resilience, professionalism and effective communication skills.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychologically informed, trauma-informed support to residents.
• Develop personalised support plans to promote choice, control and independence.
• Support day-to-day running of the service, including activities and reception duties.
