Job summary

The Salvation Army Manchester Homeless Services is seeking passionate Support Workers to deliver a high-quality programme of support across our 4 week rolling rota. You will help residents access housing, healthcare, employment and training opportunities, while promoting wellbeing and independent living skills.

You will work as part of a team to achieve contractual and quality outcomes, develop person-centred support, handle enquiries, and assist with cash handling and administration as required.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of the needs of people experiencing homelessness or vulnerability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage workload and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Person-centred approach with trauma-informed practice.
