Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged, at-risk and vulnerable learners with SEND and SEMH needs across the UK in collaboration with local authorities.

Join a flexible, trauma-informed, child-centered team delivering Maths, English or Science tuition in person, hybrid or remote settings, with competitive hourly pay (£28–£35) and CPD support. Applications welcome from UK-residents with the right to work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Subjects: familiar with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote/online jobs
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD needs
