Job summary

Targeted Provision is hiring multiple SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English or Science tutoring to learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are self-employed, with flexible in-person, hybrid or remote opportunities and varied hours to suit your schedule.

You will support students from KS1 to KS5, plan lessons, provide feedback, and work within a trauma-informed framework to make a real difference in young people's lives.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location: UK-based with right to work in the UK
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND and SEMH needs
