Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a small specialist provision in Lancaster (LA2). The role supports pupils with SEMH needs in a trauma-informed setting and runs full-time, term-time only, from October half-term.

You will work 8:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a chance for permanent appointment. A calm, patient approach and experience with trauma-informed support are essential; a full UK driving licence is required due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEMH needs.
• Trauma-informed approach to learning.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to location of the provision.

Responsibilities

• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm
• Term-time only
• Starting from October half-term
• Long-term position with potential to become permanent
