Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Student Development Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11 to 18 with SEMH needs in a specialist setting. You will use trauma-informed approaches to support regulation and help foster positive relationships within a safe, predictable environment.

You will work with safeguarding and pastoral teams, contribute to a calm learning atmosphere, and support emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEMH/SEND settings and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to maintain boundaries and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support regulation.
• Promote positive relationships and healthy boundaries.
• Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams.
