Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a Student Development Assistant to support students aged 11 to 18 in SEMH settings. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, applying trauma-informed approaches to help regulate emotions and behaviour.

You will collaborate with safeguarding and pastoral teams to maintain a safe learning environment, while building positive relationships and healthy boundaries with students and staff. This is a temporary, nurturing role with CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of SEMH/SEND, residential care or alternative provision.
• Understanding trauma-informed practice.
• Calm, consistent approach with professional boundaries.
• Strong safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities
