Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Student Development Assistant for a specialist trauma-informed provision supporting students aged 11 to 18 with SEMH needs.

The role focuses on 1:1 and small group support, using trauma-informed approaches to support regulation and healthy relationships. You will work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams to maintain a safe, respectful learning environment and help students progress toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEMH, SEND, residential care or alternative provision.
• Understands trauma-informed practice.
• Calm, consistent and maintains professional boundaries.
• Strong safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support regulation.
• Promote positive relationships and healthy boundaries.
