Job summary

Break is hiring a Residential Support Worker in Norwich. You will provide safe, consistent care for young people in our homes, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing and helping them to heal from past trauma.

You will work with colleagues and Break’s therapeutic services, remaining patient, empathetic and resilient. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare must be completed within 24 months, and a UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months.
• Must have full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, consistent and child-centred care supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young people in our homes.
• Be a positive role model and help young people heal from past trauma and build confidence.
• Work closely with colleagues and Break’s therapeutic services to support each young person.
• Remain adaptable and resilient in challenging situations.
