Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help launch a new service for sole children’s homes in Mundesley, Norfolk. This part-time role (16.5 hours + sleep in) requires a full UK driving licence and offers a starting salary around £10,931–£11,109 per year, with additional sleep-in payments.

You will provide safe, child-centred care advancing emotional and physical wellbeing, collaborating with the team and Break’s therapeutic services to help young people thrive and build trust.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Must complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months.
• Part-time role with 16.5 hours + sleep in.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, child-centred care supporting emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Support young people with trauma, helping them heal and build trust.
• Work with colleagues and Break’s therapeutic services to help each young person thrive.
