Job summary

Caretech Supplies LLC seeks a Residential Support Worker to help children aged 11–18 recover from trauma in a therapeutic home. You will provide daily care, emotional support, and help build skills for independent living in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, resilience, and teamwork. Sleep‑in shifts are part of the rota; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable children or young people in residential care, education, or youth work.
• Solid safeguarding knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches.
• Demonstrated emotional resilience and calmness under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and emotional support to children aged 11–18.
• Build trusting, trauma-informed relationships and support healthy routines.
• Support educational, social, and recreational activities and document progress.
• Administer medications per care plans and maintain records.
• Collaborate with social workers, educators, and safeguarding teams.
