Job summary

Confidential in London is seeking experienced Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality care to children and young people across a range of residential care settings. You will help them feel safe, supported and valued, and adapt to varied home environments while maintaining professional boundaries.

The role involves day-to-day care, building relationships, supporting routines and engaging in activities, with shifts that may include long days, weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• To be considered, candidates should be 21 years or over.
• At least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
• A clean UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work long days, weekends and sleep-in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to vulnerable children and young people.
• Build positive and trusting relationships.
• Support daily routines and individual needs.
• Engage children in activities, hobbies and interests.
• Support emotional wellbeing and personal development.
• Manage and respond to challenging behaviours appropriately.
