Brook Street is seeking a compassionate Childcare Worker to join our professional care team in Redhill. This full-time role supports children and young people with complex needs in a residential setting, providing nurturing, structured care and safeguarding.

You will build trusting relationships, support personal, social and educational goals, maintain records, and participate in care planning and training. The role offers ongoing development in a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in residential or supported care.
• Understanding trauma-informed care and behavioural support strategies.
• Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional well-being and development.
• Support children in achieving personal, social and educational goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging home environment following safeguarding policies.
